Flat 24 is for rent. It's on the third floor of a detached house. The flat has a kitchen, living room, 3 bedrooms, one full bath and one half-bath. It also has a balcony in the rear overlooking a nice garden. Feel free to decorate it. You're allowed to paint but may not change anything else. Here's the template.
Thank You for this. I love these kind of challenges. I will have it done soon!!
i decorated the whole flat, so i cant explain every detail, you can remix it to see!
So that I'm sure I get it, I can change the wall color and add furniture. Does that include putting my own art/wallpaper on?
@Raven Autumn Just want you to have fun decorating the flat. Paint the walls, hang art, add plants, etc. Only thing is since it's a rental, you can't change anything structurally - walls, doors ,windows, and floors must stay the same. Forgot to add you must supply your own fridge.
@Desire_Design I'd say you have a unique perspective + you're fast.
@Ravine Storme I like the dark walls against the white cabinetry, and may I add, you set a lovely table. I also like the zen-like feel of your living room.
Thank you both.
I'd love to bring my version of it. Thank you for posting this. <3
I think i just realized that we couldnt change the floor oops! :[
Thank you! I'll probably go back and see about the other rooms sometime today if I have time.
oh! i just realized the other copies changed, oops!!:)))
@Isaa Cool design, but you're right, you can't change the floors.
@desire_design Unless you "save as" instead of "take a 3D photo" your design will be changed.
@LuzMa Now that's what I call a fun kitchen.
@RavenStorme Your master bedroom design is lovely.
Thanks for the template, I love it! Here's the kitchen and living room, the rest to follow (slowly). Question: is the lack of bedroom doors for the purpose of easier camera positioning?
Thank you and Happy New Year to you too, Theodora. Really like the designs. Always been partial to that sofa. And you're right , no doors is for easy viewing of each room. The Yoo OH single panel doors fit the openings.
Valentinapenta, RS says we don't have access to the design, lol.
Thanks, Raven. I've made it public. Need to stop working on this. Here's my final design for the kitchen. Hope I didn't screw it up, lol.
I must have spent an hour going through most popular designs of all time tonight - there are a lot of really talented users here. I may have bookmarked a few designs to go back and take a long look at to see how they were done.
Your kitchen feels like home. It feels lived in. This has been a lot of fun, thank you, Valentinapenta!
Tysm I was going to put some stuff on the walls but didnt have time...
@RaeCam Thank you. I try to make my designs as realistic as possible. Sometimes I also like to tell a story. My kitchen is an example. I imagined the family finished breakfast and the father will drive his son to school which is on his way to his office. The mother kisses the boy goodbye before she heads to her home office. She's a freelance writer.
that's really cool how you came up with that @Valentinapenta!!!
hey can you guys see this? I'm worried that I got deleted can someone just give me something to show that yall can see me and read this?
I am always amazed at how different people design within a template. Y'all have created some beautiful, and very unique designs here. Valentina, I especially like the story behind the design... I do much the same. I do not always put the people in the design, but in my mind I see them there!
Issa Your living room shows on the thread - are you talking about another room?
I agree with Madge. It's amazing all the clever designs members create with a template. Well done everyone.
Sally, I love the use of that peachy "table light grey." It is one of my favourite tricks to create a soft look.. I first saw it in barnigondi's designs and fell in love with it. Barnigondi has so many designs with intriguing lights/shadows. I am seeing a lot of light playing in your room above.
Can you be more specific Valentinapenta? I'm not sure I understand the question"are you talking about another room? " can you clarify?
Issa I thought you were talking about a room. Now I see you were talking about yourself.
Oh yes, this morning I got really worried because there was a red square around the reply button on the forum and then no one was helping me with my forum thread and I got worried because I thought no one could see my posts. But I fixed it and now I'm ok.
It's amazing how our tastes are so similar. Wish you would consider doing a template. I'd love the challenge. .
Lol, yes it is...I prefer to do room makeovers for other people. It's more of a challenge than making your own template which you can adjust to fit anything. I'll think about it, maybe copy one of the floorplans from Funda. The place I was born has some really interesting houses and these days they're converting a lot of unused churches into apartments, very grand... :)
I remember you telling me about that site. The template above is from a Swedish real estate site. https://www.alvhem.com/till-salu/
I suggest that we do more of these templates for people to decorate, maybe RS could have a contest for who could come up with the best template! That would be really cool! Valentinapenta, I really like your idea about giving templates to people to decorate! :)
Hi, everybody! I made a blueprint following this wonderful idea!
I started a new topic on the forum to keep designs apart.
Thank you, Valentina, for the link and the whole idea!!!
Please, play along with me. :)
Just copy and paste the url of the room.
Hope it helps, sorry for my English, I'm from Spain.
Btw, valentinapenta, I'm not sure if you like my remixes. Just wanted to give some ideas to decorate the flat.
I think all the recent designs are wonderful. I especially like Theodora's kid's room and RaeCam's master.
And the view out the nursery window would traumatize any child, lol. :)
Theodora, your office is feminine but strong. I like it.
But Valentinapenta, why would clouds traumatize a child
