Summer On The Boat House

Thanks to crosette who was a huge part of this room, and helping me design. And Ayudewi who was very supportive of me. And of course, everyone who is supporting me.

By the way, this design is amazing! Apparently you love boats. Looking at your page, I see you garner quite a lot of "likes" for your design, seems more than I do, but I have not been with RS as long as you have.

Hi Bgref!   First of all, you are NOT wasting my time. I enjoy corresponding with you, and I agree totally with your concern about population and the environment. Actually, I am astonished that population control seems to have become a non-subject around the world.  Since I am quite a bit older than you, I do remember that a few decades before the turn of the century (sounds awfully strange, since it seems as if this event was just a few years ago) the exploding world population was a subject that was written about a lot.  I don't know what happened, since no one seems to be concerned about this any more.  I am sorry to say that the generations before you are not leaving you and your future children a safe world or a healthy planet, in spite of the technological progress of the last decades, or maybe even because of it.  I think  population explosion is the cause of many problems in this world, now and even more so in the future.  But enough of that.

Bgref, thank you very much for your wonderful comments! And just notices that you mention me also in the story of this design! Thank you again! Well, i must admit that I am not as helpful as Crosette did to you, but of course i did want to see you improve and really glad to see how did it works for you, mostly because it is your own decision to improve and Crosette+others helpful advises :)

Bgref, I saw a comment you made to someone. You can hit the remix button anytime to look inside a room for a product, we all do that. It doesn't register as a remix until you save it.:-)

I can't decide if I'm going to enter it in the contest and take one of the others out. What do you think?

Oh, no worry Bgref, I never meant to remix it. I don't do remixes. I was just experimenting with the horizon. It's always been a tricky thing for me.:-)

This is gorgeous Bgref! You took the colors from the beautiful scenery and used them in your design in a very artistic way!  I used this to experiment with some things, but will keep it private.:-)

Bgref, my pleasure!I love your dedication to learnt here. You're still young and if you are really serious on learning interior designs (learning via RS is a first step i guess), then you can pursue it as your "future job with passion" one day :)Anyway, i really like this living room!Spacious, fresh, and looks comfort!

I was gonna say use the bigger palm tree and find him a home, he looks funny just kinda chillin in the middle of the room lol. 5. don't be afraid to play with the architecture! I like to make little "nooks" for things like the kitchen and bookcases so they look built in. Look back at the remix I did to see what I mean by that. I left it public for you to look at. That's it. I guess that was more than "a suggestion" lol. Again, these are just my thoughts, and you totally don't have to take them! It's all are and we all have different points of view and I totally respect yours!

    1. Raise your ceiling a foot so that the beams aren't touching the windows.2. There are still a lot of different shades of blue, green, teal, aqua going on. Try to keep them in the same of colors so they aren't clashing. For instance the color of teal in the rug is not in the sames family as the kitchen tiles, moroccan pillows, or solid blue/green pillows, or color of ceiling... they clash a bit. Actually the moroccan looking pillows don't really match the rest of the colors.3. Idk if you know, but you can resize the pictures you are using as tiles. They look like these huge tiles in comparison to everyting else. Or use a RS tile to replace them and they will be to scale.  I just read your message about the post. Actually I thought it was kind of cool, but I think I would make it white, it's a little overwhelming in tile. Or like I said try it out with tile that is more to scale with the room. 4. The room is pretty big. I would probably go with bigger palm tree than what you have. Also maybe find it
