Swedish Sun Room

When I first started this room it took me forever to find the right kind of furniture . It seemed nothing worked out with the painted German "Schrank" (armoire) I wanted to use as a focal point. I was frustrated to the point of giving up - until I found these wonderful Swedish settees, which really got me going.  I believe I successfully combined the painted German alpine farmers "Schrank"  and grandfather's clock with the Swedish settees, the exquisite Chinese chests which I love, a Victorian style mirror,  and Moroccan accessories, including the coffee table. Not to forget the fabulous paintings. Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the artist.  All in all,  I think this turned out to be a very happy room.

Thank you Bgref! I love your boat design, which is amazing for a newcomer.  Being a newcomer myself, let's enjoy the ride and keep working at it.

Thank you Daisy! I have said it before and I say it again, you are my inspiration. To achieve that skill you show in your creations in such a short time is admirable but I doubt that I can follow in your footsteps that quickly.

Thank you, Fairligt. As I have told you, I am simply amazed that a young woman your age is so devoted and shows  that much ambition to compete  with adults on this site on an even level. I love your designs. My hat off to you!
