The year is 1930 and this is Hollywood fiction. Ms. Swanson has just arrived home from a grueling day on the set of a new "talkie" movie. Her driver is just about to open her door when they are surprised by someone who jumps out from behind the bushes and takes a picture! You can see his reflection in the windshield. The driver looks like he could be a young Max from "Sunset Boulevard" and I thought about calling this Norma instead of Gloria. The cut-outs made by me are from Swanson cover, Motion Picture Magazine by Brewster Publications, 1930 Pierce Arrow by Jagvar, 1930 Navy biplane by the National Weather Service, Hollywood sign by Jon Sullivan (I cut out Griffith Observatory and the TV station on Mount Lee, they weren't built yet.) Hallway is from Spaso House by Valeriy Yevseyev (U.S. Embassy.) All photos are in public domain and found in Wikimedia Commons. The plants and lamp are from Immediate Entourage and the driver and his shirt are from Pngimg.com. House and driveway are by Roomstyler and me.
