I Don't Like It,l LOVE It
Thanks anchaja and Lydia! @Lydia, its a great to know and these information about ruins and medieval fortress which I'd love to took some pictures in real, but of course it's too far :D maybe just one of my dream collections...
If you like history, look up "Hohenstaufer". One of their fortresses on the Hohenstaufen was partially renovated in modern times, if I recall correctly. It has been a number of years since I was there.
You did a super job with the lighting, something I have yet to experiment with!
As to your question about my design, NO, it has nothing to do with WWII. The design represents a fictional medieval fortress out of the 11th or 12th century which has fallen in disrepair. A lot of those medieval fortresses were built on top of hills for protection from enemies. Many underwent a number of renovations within the course of a few centuries. In Germany, there are countless ruins of these fortresses. My design depicts the disrepair and abandonment. The tower and buildings you see in the background are of later centuries and are still intact, which is not unusual. There is a lot of romance associated with these ruins. In summer, most towns have medieval festival and tournaments with every one dressed in appropriate costumes to revive those times.
wow~ I love the green lighting.
