Oh, I also used so many mirrors because they have an edge on them that can be seen if you don't over lap them. So I usually layer them to keep that edge from showing and to create a smooth mirrored effect.
I chose to cover the entire ceiling in mirrors to make the space seem taller. everything is reflected but the camera shot cuts off most of where the light fixtures are hung. Sometimes the mirrors can trick the eyes! I have opened up many designs thinking there was another floor only to realize its mirrors. You kinda need to use them strategically to get the effect. Like next to windows to or in this case where the walls will be reflected to make the room to appear taller. Its something you need to play with to figure out what works best. Hope that helps!
ok...upon closer inspection I DO see where the mirror is reflecting. I was thrown off guard by the fact that the light fixture does not seem to be reflected back. Maybe it's an optical illusion I'm not grasping. Would still love to know about why you chose the number of mirrors you chose. Thank you for the insight!
Hi again Crosette! This is great. My question is about the number of mirrors you used on the ceiling. When I did a remix I uncovered one after the other. I wondered what effect it has on your finished design because I don't see any reflections up there. Did using those ceiling tiles have some other effect that the viewer can't see? I'm so curious!
