Hi dafz, I see that you're experiencing the 'streaked floor' problem.  To fix that, click on your main floor, then click the Delete Floor button in the left hand panel.  You should now see a different floor type.  Click on the floor again, then click the Delete Floor button again.  You should now see the white grid.  Now delete one exterior wall (it shouldn't matter which one so use one without windows or items on it).  Then redraw the wall with the drawing feature in the left panel.  You should see the floor restore to the default texture.  Then just drag and drop any texture on the left panel to your preference.  :)

I should have added that you can delete that little wall section, if you want, without it causing the floor/walls to disappear.  However, it's generally preferable to use a 'rectangular opening' from the door tab.  Once you drop it on the wall, you can click on it, and fully adjust the height/width of your opening. :)

Hi Iris, I was wandering around the Discover page and saw your design had the dreaded streaked floor problem.  To fix that, click on the floor, then in the left panel click the Delete Floor button.  You should now see a different floor underneath.  Use the Delete Floor button again.  Once you are down to the white grid, then delete one wall, then redraw it (normally, any wall will work, so use one that doesn't have windows/items on it).  You should see the floor restore to the default texture.  Then just drag and drop textures from the left hand panel or your 'Room materials' tab. Here's an old thread that explains the construction problem that causes it:  https://roomstyler.com/forum/discussions/6395
