I see some people doing living room settings, ignoring the shop aspect the contest calls for.
There was a lot of nice wall arts in the new but all disappeared, what happened?
Regarding living room setups, I've seen actual vintage and consignment shops set up their sellable furniture that way. It's a way of putting it in context so the customer can get a visual of how it could look in their own home. (then they usually surround that vignette with lots and lots of accessories, lol). And they might even have a 'dining room' and 'bedroom' area.
I think the difference here would be if it's a perfect living room without any excess pieces and parts. That would never happen in a shop. There would be accessories and mis-matched pieces scattered throughout the room around the vignette. Hope that helps :)
