You all thought member designerv deserves a makeover in our Grand Designs Reader Room Makeover competition.

designerv was ecstatic to win, and can't wait to see what inspirational designs our community will dream up for her. 'I've always played it safe and neutral with my choices of colours in most rooms in my house,' she tells mydeco. 'I would like to see something more colourful and exciting with a modern or contemporary style. The sky's the limit really!'
