A big Dutch hotel chain has launched a challenge to design one of their upcoming hotel suites and make use of a lot of different glass materials.

The official briefing:
The challenge is to design and decorate a 60 m2 hotel suite on the ground floor within the current building of Van der Valk-hotel in Tiel, The Netherlands. Two separate rooms will be merged into one big suite. We also challenge you to use as many glass in the newly created suite as possible. The design has to make use of the material glass in many ways, for instance reflecting glass, printed glass or painted glass. This is the current floorplan.

These items are mandatory to use:
double bed 180 x 220cm - desk with chair - seat with armrests - table - closet - wardrobe - minibar - safe - TV and landline telephone - Spherical light - Music set

In the bathroom:
bathtub and shower - double sink with mirror - space for accessories - vanity mirror, hairdryer - toilet, preferably separate
