Design a living room with soft colors and soft edges. Both in the overall furnishing as in the colors applied to the walls, floors and ceiling. A soft color pallet can be Pastel, but you can also choose a different set of colors that don't result in large contrasts. You can (but don't have to) use the image as an inspiration. This is part of a watercolour painting by Kathryn Bernard. Also try to accomplish blurry edges in the type of materials and shapes you use.
