Richard Meier chose the winners of first prize and 3 runners up...

We teamed up with renowned architect Richard Meier to bring you a very special competition. We asked you to design your very own version of this ultra-desirable Meier apartment, from New York's West Village.

First prize

Richard Meier chose his favourite design to win a Richard Meier designed bonbonnière (worth £130/$175) from his new collection for When Objects Work.

Congratulations to Chania for their green and black design which Richard Meier and the mydeco design jury chose as the best design!

 

Second prize

£100/$150 to spend at mydeco boutique awarded to the most popular design, as voted for by visitors to mydeco.com.

Congratulations to Di Duca for their yellow design which received the most votes.

 

3 x runners up prize

Richard Meier chose three runners-up who will receive a personalised signed copy of Richard Meier Architect 5 (Rizzoli).

 

At 14 years old, Grady is our youngest winner – we were staggered that someone so young can produce such mature, beautiful designs!

 

Elaine, who designs under the username Danelawless on mydeco.com, is studying for a BA in Interior Design.

 

Rasha, username Rooooo on mydeco, is Egyptian and lives in Dubai where she works in Real Estate. Her passion for interior design, fashion and everything related to arts & styling has led her to help friends and family furnish their homes and she hopes to do it professionally one day.
